Same Day Print Procedure

1. Get a quote

Email us or request a quote and tell us your requirements.

2. We provide a production slot

When we provide the quote we’ll give you a timescale for your order - we aim to do this within 45 minutes of receiving your enquiry. You will need to confirm you want the production slot within 30 minutes from our quote submission.

Once 30 minutes has lapsed and we have not received your confirmation we will need to release the Production Slot back and although we will absolutely do our best for you, we cannot totally guarantee it should you confirm late.

3. Send Your Files

You'll need to send us your Print Ready pdf files within the pre-agreed timescale.

Because of the tight timetable, you’ll need to send us completely print ready files (with crop marks and bleed please).

Artwork

It’s pretty essential to hit the artwork deadline we’ll give you to ensure the print deadline is met. We can always help out on small amends, but any major changes will no doubt affect the deadline arrangement. So, a good quality PDF (300dpi is good) and a 3mm bleed with crop marks is the basic starting point. With same day print, there may not be enough time to send a pdf proof for approval so please take extra time to get this right. 

4. Payment

If you are not an approved account holder, before print commences you will need to pay by credit card link which we will email over to you.

5. We receive your paid order

Your job is printed and despatched!

Delivery

As part of our environmental credentials – ISO14001 – all of our couriers are pushbikes. Generally, they are the fastest across London anyway but please allow the couriers travel time when you’re planning your job.  

Just so you know First Colour does not ‘price load’ jobs ordered on the ‘sameday’ scheme.

And finally, if you miss the deadline call us we’ll do our best to help. (Our service levels have won awards)

Every effort will be made to deliver as agreed but any delivery time specified is a best estimate and we can accept no liability for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods from our Couriers.
